Aadat Privacy Policy

Effective date: 14 October 2026 · App: Aadat (com.nikhilsharma.aadat) · Developer: Nikhil Sharma

Aadat is a habit tracker. You use it to list the habits you want to build or quit, tick them off each day, note why a day was missed, and follow your progress, goals and rewards. This policy explains what happens to that information.

Short version

Everything you enter stays on your phone. Aadat does not collect, upload, sell or share any of your data. The app has no internet permission, no account or login, no ads, no analytics and no third-party SDKs.

What the app stores, and where

The app keeps the following only in its private storage on your device:

The developer never receives any of this information.

Reminders and permissions

Reminders are scheduled on your phone by Android itself; nothing is sent to a server. The app asks for:

Tapping "Done" on a notification only marks that habit as done inside the app.

Backups

"Back up" saves a file with your Aadat data into the Downloads/Aadat folder on your phone, or opens Android's share menu if that is not possible. Nothing is sent unless you choose an app and send it yourself. "Restore" reads only the one file you pick with Android's file picker.

If you have turned on Android's device backup (Google backup), Android may include the app's data in your personal backup. That backup is handled by Google under your Google account settings, not by the developer.

Deleting your data

You can delete any habit together with its history inside the app (My habits → delete). Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, removes all of the app's data from your device.

Children

Aadat is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
